TRANSITIONS
Transitions are moments between light and darkness, between reality and reflection, between the outer world and the inner landscapes of the self. This photographic exhibition enters spaces where the boundary is not sharp but a soft, blending shadow; where light is not merely a source of illumination but a carrier of meaning; where mirrors do not reflect only surfaces, but provoke questions of identity and perception.
The photographs explore the visual and symbolic aspects of self-reflection. The mirror—an eternal motif in art—is not merely a tool for looking inward, but at once a window and a barrier. Within it, images fracture, forms divide, the self doubles or disappears. At the same time, light—natural or artificial—becomes an active interlocutor: sometimes revealing, sometimes concealing, but always transforming something.
Through a sensitive use of composition, shadows, and reflections, the artist creates spaces of transition: between external reality and the inner world, between the past and present self, between the visible and the perceived. Photography becomes a kind of door—or perhaps only the illusion of a door—that invites the viewer to ask: Who am I in this moment of transition? And who will I be when I look away?
